I had a lump in my throat just reading this and empathising with them both. They're obviously still totally in love with each other - the fact that their life circumstances hasn't changed it after all this time shows how strong and deep it must be. I hurt for them both.
Thanks for the update. ♥

I AM SOBBING ♥
THIS IS SO PAINFUL AND ESCA'S CONFESSION JUST SENT MY HEART INTO TATTERS AND SMITHEREENS BUT GOD THIS REMAINS AS SO BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN AND WONDERFUL.

So hurty. All the assumptions Marcus had and poor, suffering Esca - both of them so heartbroken.
Absolutely brilliant writing, nonny. Brilliant. ♥

I was staring at this page for like an hour before I even worked up the courage to start reading this update. I was crying before I was two lines in, and now I cannot stop sobbing. Reading this physically hurts, but it is so so good. Gorgeous, and painful, and haunting.
I WILL BE INCONSOLABLE UNTIL THE NEXT UPDATE. INCONSOLABLE.
