For all the things the hotel could and did meddle with, the effect it had on the concept of time was one of the more frustrating. For now, though, this looked to be not so awkward - it was the girl from before, and if his cleric training had gotten anything through his head, she seemed ...tired? Hmm.
He waves a bit, trying to get her attention before he got too close to startle her. "Miss Amelia!"

"Oh, Mr Aldray!" she smiled and waved back, ignoring the stinging of her hands, before moving towards the path to meet him. "How are you?"

"I'm doing well, how about yourself?" He glanced around, noting the piles of broken rock. "Looks like you've been keeping busy..."

Following his gaze, she rubbed the back of her head head sheepishly, laughing and blushing a bit in embarrassment. She hadn't realized how much damage she had done. "Ah, yes I guess you could say that. I just wanted to clear my head a bit."

"If all that was big rocks before, I suspect your head should be clear as pure water, milady," he adds, chuckling again.

"I guess so. I just lost track of time it seems." she replied. Any refreshing escape from the daily antics of the hotel were welcome while they lasted though.

Once they reach the door, he does move a bit quicker to get the door for Amelia.

"Looks like there's enough wood anyway." she mused on checking the stack next to the fireplace. "Guess we should see about any food."

She was right, it was a bedroom, with only one large double bed in it. Considering where they were, it was no surprise, but Amelia found herself sighing heavily, feeling her face heat up a little. Well, it would be best to get the awkwardness out of the way, thus she headed back to the kitchen, preparing to break the news to her male friend.

Or any luck, for that matter. Sadly, he has not been caught up on modern conveniences in his time here.
"Ah, Miss Amelia! I believe I found food, but it appears to be trapped in the most confounding containers..."

"Isn't there a lid that can be removed Mr Aldray?" she asked. It seemed like a similar size to jar after all. Why would they put the food inside containers and not have a lid so you could get what was inside?
