Still, she could understand being worked up over a big assignment, so offered a happy grin as she stood up, trying to ignore the leather coming off against her legs.
"Oh, nice to meet you Miss Minazuki. I'm Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun." she smiled, offering her hand in a friendly gesture of greeting. "My daddy would have come, but something came up this morning, so he asked me to run this stuff by you for the next campaign." she explained, waiting patiently until she was director in the office.

"Ah, but it's convenient that we're both substitutes, right? If we do something wrong, nobody will know about it." Perhaps bringing it up as a joke would deflect attention from her actually being worried about doing it wrong. "Anyway, let's go on back to the office and get started."

"Well, since we're both just filling in, why not drop the formalities and make it more comfortable?" she suggested and she walked beside the other intern. "You can just call me Amelia if you like."

"Here we are." The project director was a popular and successful figure at the company, and one of the many benefits was that he had an especially spacious office. It was furnished with a large desk, a few nice cushioned chairs, a bookshelf that displayed an assortment of awards on an upper shelf... there was even a small refrigerator, of all things, underneath a table. Karen pulled up one of the chairs for Amelia, then sat in another next to her. She would have used the one behind the desk, but that would have felt strange. Besides, she liked the idea of being closer to the other intern.

As she went inside, she sat down in the seat offered and admired the office a moment, before leafing through the folder and adjusting her glasses before handing over a few sheets of paper to the other intern.
"Okay, those are the original proposals we got for what you wanted with these advertisements, the agreed changes are in the margins. Could you confirm that you were okay with the amendments?" she asked, flicking through the rest of the papers. She hadn't had much time to look things over, having spent a good chunk of time trying to find the folder in her sister's mess of a desk at the firm, so she wanted to be sure she was on the right track.

After being briefly distracted watching Amelia adjust her glasses, she blinked, cleared her throat, and looked over the papers with an "ah--yes." She wasn't certain about advertising, but she at least knew about the product, so it wasn't completely foreign territory.
Amelia's sister's handwriting, on the other hand, was. "Er, what's this about?" she asked as she pointed to a note.
