All things considered, things were going smoothly. The open gala in the Seyruun palace was in full swing, and it seemed as if people were enjoying themselves. The music drifted through the air like a gentle breeze, allowing those dancing to practically glide across the floor to the flow of the melody. Everyone in sight, no matter where there were

"Madam, a drink tonight?" asked Subaru in "his" polite manner, offering the tray with the drinks.
Subaru was a butler, and a damn good one at that. And yet there was something about him that would make anyone swoon.
Maybe it was because below it, Subaru was a ridiculously moe girl.

"Thank you." she replied, taking a sip, though still watching the servant. Despite being a princess, she never thought herself above others. Thus, she made the effort to be friendly with all the staff, and this time was no exception. "I hope all the guests haven't made the evening too hectic for you."

She smiled at her as she added, "If there's anything you wish for the night, I've been given orders to help as much as possible."

"I appreciate your concern, and for that offer, though I imagine you've been doing a lot of hard work already." she mused, briefly looking out at the throng of people in the hall. "I'll probably be retiring soon anyway, if I get out of this dress." she added, the last part muttered with a little edge of weariness at the complications brought on by the gown.

"My shift is almost over as it stands," she added quickly. "If your highness will allow me to escort you to your quarters."

"Very well, just let me say goodnight to my daddy, and I'll be with you in a moment." she replied, putting the glass down and heading over the throne her father was sitting at. After a brief talk, Amelia was heading through the crowds towards the staircase, waiting for Subaru to follow.

She paused on that thought though as they came to Amelia's room. Despite being small in stature, she was strong, no doubt in how well she could fight. Thus, she had no problem pushing open the heavy doors to her bedroom, leaving it open for Subaru to come inside. Once she had removed her jewellery and tiara, placing the items on her dressing table, she moved behind the dressing screen, eager to start getting the gown off.

"Thank you...Mr Subaru isn't it?" she replied. There were a lot of staff in the Seyruun palace, but Amelia still made the effort to know their names.

"There we are," she said, finishing with removing the strings -- and then sighing as she began working on the first corset. "Really, double knots on everything..."

Turning to look over her shoulder, she glanced at the butler curiously. "Is there a problem?"

"The maids were doing a sloppy job on your dressing, my princess." she said, shaking her head. "Someone decided to use double-knotting instead of ties for your corset. Do you mind if I check the front? I will be unable to remove it from the back."

On hearing the request, Amelia nodded, turning around to all Subaru access to the front of her dress. He clearly knew more about the matter than Amelia did. She was used to much more simple outfits, which she didn't need help with. Still, the maids had insisted it wasn't suitable for her to be seen unless they laced her in properly, or what they deemed proper. "Thank you for your help on this."

Her fingers brushed against her chest as she continued to work the laces open, thanking her lucky stars that they hadn't done anything more ludicrous with the laces. Soon she had freed Amelia of the top. "There you are. Allow me."
And she took a hold of Amelia's dress and began to tug gently to remove the girl's top, not noticing her breath was warm and gusting over the young princesses skin.

Despite her petite height, Amelia did possess an ample figure, including a rather generous bust, which probably became more obvious when Subaru was removing the top of the gown. Suddenly aware of the warm breath against her skin, she had to cover her mouth with her hand to supress a whimper, hoping the action had gone unnoticed.
