It was all so clear. Despite everything around her being dark, blending into the night, the scene before her was vivid, almost as if surrounded by an unearthly glow to highlight it in the blackness. Yes it was right in front of her, and yet she could do nothing but stare; the scream of panic, a body falling to the floor, the glint of a blade as it

It was his turn, but Zero was still hesitant. It was awkward for him to do this sort of thing, he was never one to open his heart to just anyone. Even so, he was willing to try, especially if it would help to just finally tell someone ( ... )

"Yeah, I know. I've always known, but it's nice to hear it from someone else." Nice to hear that there's a chance I'd be accepted regardless, he thought.
Then, just like that, the tension in his shoulders left, and he felt lighter, felt better in general. He hoped he was able to do the same for Amelia.
"What about you? Do you feel any better?"

Hearing the question, sne gave a brief nod, her expression showing that clearly, she felt a lot more at ease than before."I do, actually." she answered, sighing in relief as she leaned back against the cushions. "I suppose getting it off my chest was the best thing for me."
It seemed that the same could be said for Zero by the looks of things, which made her happy as well. Still, the downside to all this was that there was little reason left for him to stay, which was a shame. Now that her fear wasn't clouding her senses, she did wish he could stay a bit longer, though wouldn't dare ask.

"Hey, uh," he began hesitantly. It couldn't hurt to do her one more favor. "Did you ... want me to tuck you in or something?"

"I-If you don't mind." she replied quietly, finally releasing his hand, standing up to let the robe slip off her shoulders as she approached the bed, leaving her clad in her nightdress. Even if it was more modest that most things the hotel provided, it still clung to her frame, which was fairly curvy for someone so petite.

"Of course I don't mind," Zero replied to her statement, watching her stand up. His eyes automatically followed those curves once her robe slid off, but he made sure not to stare too much as he followed her to the bed.

Pulling the covers back, she settled down on the mattress, still a bit tense as Zero moved closer. Despite that, she wasn't about to act ungrateful for all her had done for her. "Thanks, for helping me I mean." she murmured, cheeks still pink but lips curved into a small grin, laying back as her gaze fixared on him.

"And thank you, Amelia, for the same." The Hunter then closed the distance between them, lips locking onto hers gently. At the same time he pulled the sheets over her shoulders, tucking one side under an arm.

As he tucked one of her arms in, the remaining free one reached up, cupping the side of his face and gently stroking with her fingers. If her reluctance from before was hard to deal with, the building sensation now at the prospect of him leaving was ten times worse. Even so, she couldn't just blurt that out. The gesture, however, might give him a clue.

"Do you want me to stay?" he murmured softly, his lips just centimeters from hers. He kissed her once more, a soft chaste touch, while waiting for her answer.

"Only if you want to." she said softly, not wishing to guilt him into staying with her. It was his choice, and she would accept that decision, whatever it might be.

He slightly smiled to himself when he realized he was essentially giving her a show, removing his armor piece by piece, and then stripping off his bodysuit completely. Lastly, he untied his hair and let it fall loose from its usual low ponytail.
He winked at her teasingly as he walked to the other side of the bed and crawled in, then draped one arm over Amelia and let her snuggle against him if she wanted.

She knew it was rude to stare, and honestly a bad idea all things considered, but she simply found she couldn't tear her eyes away. It wasn't just that he was notably handsome, but also how different he looked as the armor came off. Such elaborate battlewear was new to her. It certainly looked more complex than the medieval stuff she was used to seeing at home, and had the misfortune of being stuck in at one point.
The wink earned another blush, but even so, she wasted no time in curling up his arm, cuddling up close as her face nuzzled into the side of his neck affectionately. She hadn't considered how the material of her nightwear against his skin was making him feel, just wishing to show appreciation for him staying with her, looking up at him with big innocent eyes.

Her body felt very warm to the touch, and soft. Her nightgown added to the effect. Zero kissed her again, as gentle as the first two, and even ran one hand down her body before pulling her closer against him. He didn't want to go too far too fast; after all, they just met. It was bad enough he couldn't keep his lips off her.
