It honestly sounded like a nice notion, being given a break from the routine requirement for sex every so often. Most likely her naive hopefulness had been overriding her common sense when she had been delivered a message that she was going to be allowed that perk. She didn't honestly regret her encounters, but for what the gesture meant in the ( Read more... )

The rustling Amelia heard wasn't the sound of footsteps, but breaking branches and falling leaves. There was something out there in the woods, moving around slowly, but having no luck keeping its presence secret. When she looked right in the direction the sound had come from, there was a beep, and more rustling sounds. Hiding in the shadows was a solid black sphere, with a small antenna coming off the top, but when it turned around a large, happy looking cats face would be visible. LunaP hovered into view out of the foliage and floated in the air a few feet from Amelia, doing nothing of interest, not even another beep.

At the moment Black Lady didn't want anyone to ask her how she felt or try to get inside her head, so it was for the best Amelia wasn't aware. Her issues were under control, she was dealing with them one by one, and anyone who tried to push the matter would probably get their head bit off, or tied up, if the hotel was so inclined. Either way, it wasn't going to be an issue right now.

Black Lady watched as the ball of light took form, her crimson eyes catching the light just so. She leaned in closer, reaching out as if to touch it, but stopping before actually doing so. "I've never felt energy like this before," she said, glancing to the side at Amelia. "My power tends to take a much darker appearance." To demonstrate, an orb of dark, crackling energy formed over Black Lady's palm, the same size as Amelia's light ball. "It used to control me, but now I'm the one in control of it."

Likely it was for the best, since Amelia, however well intentioned, did tend to get into things over her head at time for the sake of wanting to do good. Most of the time, it did work out for the best, but considering the unfamiliar setting, it did leave her open to mishaps. The princess wasn't one to change who she was though, so it was just likely she'd end up in more trouble in the future.

It was just light, it wouldn't have done any harm, but Amelia didn't question why she backed off. Any other thought was quickly siderailed as she saw the ball Black Lady conjured, her eyes widening. It might have been a little like Lina's magic, certainly dark and powerful, but not quite the same. Nodding in understanding, she looked back up at the other girl, smiling slightly. "Well that's something to be proud of, now that you have control over everything."

Some time later they could compare stories about their childhoods, or delve into what made Black Lady so evil. The name said something, even if she no longer had any association with the Black Moon Clan. What else was she supposed to call herself? Himeko was just a name she'd made up when pretending to be a college student. Now she used it like her name. That was something she still needed to serious think about.

"Not everything," she corrected, closing her hand and putting out the dark energy orb. "This power once consumed me. It probably could do it again. Sometimes this place makes the control I have go away." Which meant sometimes she was kind of evil and a touch sadistic. "And don't get any ideas of using your healing magic on me. Someone tried that once, it didn't work." The conversation had dark turn. Black Lady turned back to Amelia with a shrug. "Anyway, what do you like to eat? I'm kind of hungry."

Amelia responded by letting the light orb flicker away, hands now back in her lap as she listened. Her mouth closed immediately on hearing the remark; it was unfortunate, though she had to admit, she knew the chances of her powers doing any good against that energy were slim at best. The sudden transition was a little jarring, but she didn't want to make things uncomfortable for Black Lady, so went along with the change in topic.

"Well, there is some food back here if you like, I'll see what I managed to grab before I came out here." she replied as she stood. Unfortunately the notable wince came as she moved, the girl unable to prevent herself hissing at the stinging sensation as she walked over to her back, rummaging through it before laying out a small selection of snacks; fruit, some sandwiches and a few sweets.

Being social wasn't something Black Lady had trouble with, but keeping things focused was another matter. Her mind too easily jumped from one topic to another when a latent memory asserted itself, or a negative emotion rose to the surface. As much work as she'd done, there was still a long road ahead. One did not simply walk into Mordor recover overnight from having one's destiny rewritten and endued with the power of Chaos. Food was a neutral topic; it could override anything.

"Always prepared aren't you?" Amelia reminded Black Lady of a few different people, all wrapped into one. Maybe that's why she didn't mind her company, because there was familiarity but no conflicting emotions tied to it. It wasn't hard to see Amelia was having some kind of issue, and Black Lady followed right behind her, watching the odd way Amelia walked. The first thing to come to mind was she'd been injured somehow. "Are you feeling well? You're walking a little strange."

That was opposite to Amelia, who could often be thought of at too open, too trusting, often getting into trouble due to her idealistic belief in the good of everyone. Maintaining tht was some feat for someone who had gone through several near world ending disasters, but she had managed, so she could understand the task of holding together your own beliefs and what made you unique. Of course, she was dwelling on the more immediate problem of the moment ( ... )

Good thing Amelia hadn't met Black Lady a few years previous. She would have been a much different person, seeking out dark energies, exploiting them, awakening them, all because that was what she'd been created to do. The Wiseman made a fatal error in trying to rewrite her memories while leaving who she was buried inside. Chibiusa may not have been strong, but she was persistent, and never let go. Deep down, she was still in there, warped and twisted into the Black Lady. Only recently did she even let herself think of that name again, but she wasn't ready to use it just yet ( ... )

Considering some of the foes she had faced with her friends, Amelia knew all to well how strong those forces could be. Even Lina had a lot to overcome to stop herself from being completely taken over by the Lord of Nightmares, though it had taken help from Gourry to really stop the transformation. There were some evils that had to be vanquished, but there were still many were there was hope for change. If that chance existed, Amelia was all for taking it.

Swallowing heavily on hearing those words, the princess shifted uncomfortably once more, knowing that was a true fact. The fact that Black Lady seemed insistant, knowing she was causing more issues by hiding this added to her guilt. Sighing heavily, she shook her head, face reddening at the thought of having to give in to the embarrassing truth. "I'm not hurt, I'm, well look." she muttered, eyes snapping shut to prevent herself from seeing the other girl's reaction as she lifted her skirt.

Black Lady had a hand in awakening some strong forces, which in turn went after those she had once cared about. Her world was quite a mess, a mess she now felt responsible for, and had a plan to counter it. The problem was, she couldn't do that in the hotel. So she did the only thing she could do, and that was enjoy herself. Free food, free lodging, and she could feel things again. It was easily twisted by the hotel.

The whole concern thing was new, but she wasn't the sort of person to give up easily. Amelia was in distress, she seemed like a good girl, so Black Lady wanted her to not be in distress anymore. Simple as that. Seeing Amelia lift her skirt was very confusing though, so confusing she took a step back until she saw the strange thing latched onto the girl's body. What the hell?

"I'd ask why you put it on, but I know what you'll say," she said, shaking her head. "Was there a note or anything?"

Amelia also had plenty of things she could be doing at home, but even so, she didn't wish to waste her time in the hotel, for however long her stay might be. She would do her best to help those she could, even if that meant in ways she never would have considered at home. Even so, she wouldn't have traded away the time spent. Despite circumstances, she was fond of the friends she made here, and still held appreciation for meeting them, no matter what.

With that though, she did felt a bit self conscious in showing just what was bothering her, face turning steadily redder the long she held up the skirt.

"Yes, apparently, this is hotel thinking it's being kind in 'giving me a break'." she sighed heavily, pouting as she looked down at the ground in frustration. "They did tell me how to get it off, but...well, I don't want to drag someone else into this just to free myself." she insisted, not wanting the other girl to feel there was any obligation to act.

Black Lady wasn't a genius but she had a good brain on her shoulders. The things she'd heard others talking about led her to believe that people returned home eventually right at the point they left, so it didn't matter in the end. Time travel wasn't new to her, confusing yet, but not new. Her world would be there when she got back.

There was a more pressing matter at hand though. What the heck was Amelia wearing, and why? Well that was easy, because the hotel put her in it, but what was it? She'd never seen such a thing before.

"Giving you a break? I don't think so," she countered, stepping closer. Black Lady ghosted a finger down Amelia's arm as she knelt down, and then trailed those same fingers over the metallic undergarment. "It blocked your best avenue for relief and left you to suffer. So what are you going to do about it?" She asked as she glanced up, hand settling at Amelia's hip. "You can't stay like this."

While it was true and likely nothing she needed to worry over, Amelia worried regardless. It was simply in her nature, and her proactive attitude meant being in a situation where she was idle, and had nothing much else to do but wait things out just made her more jittery.

Admittedly the princess would have had more questions if she hadn't been provided with a note, though at the very least she had heard of the device before. Yes, it did it's job alright, but at the cost of the wearer's comfort it seemed.

"Well, the logic is I don't have to get involved with...other people while like this, hence the break." she replied, hissing a bit at the touch due to her tender skin enduring the friction from the metal garment. "But it won't come off unless I can assist another person, and I can't just ask someone such a thing to save myself."

In the end Black Lady found the hotel amusing at times, because things rarely became boring for long. Te kind of trouble she got into wasn't dangerous, the people she met didn't try to tell her she was wrong and should go back to being someone else, and the aforementioned free food and lodging. Things might have been different if she ran into more people from her world.

"What's wrong with getting involved with other people?" She asked, head tilted slightly. There were times when she felt so lazy even the aphrodisiacs had to put in extra effort but she'd never wear that thing to catch some extra sleep. It looked hideous and uncomfortable, hardly any kind of benefit. "Assist another person? You mean have some kind of sex with them. You speak as if doing that is a bad thing that you shouldn't enjoy or want to do."

Oddly enough, Amelia often found herself with the opposite problem. Rarely at home did she have nothing to do, but without her duties, or adventures with friends, she often had to think a lot harder about how to spend her days, namely without anything sex related. She didn't get to see some people as much as she would have liked, but she made a habit of keeping in touch with friends in between training. Coupled with exploring some of the hotel floors, and hoping nothing was lurking about that she didn't want to run into, the days were filled up sufficiently.

"I don't want to ask someone, and make them feel compelled to let me do things with them just to help myself out of this." she replied, knowing that if it did come off, Black Lady would see her assumptions were correct in how uncomfortable the chastity belt was. Even so, as per usual, Amelia instinctively put inconveniencing other people above helping herself in the list of priorities.

Teleportation provided an avenue of endless amusement at first, as all Black Lady had to do was try to get back to her room, and end up in some other place. The hotel made it too easy to get into trouble, which usually devolved into sex. That part didn't bother her too much, not when she felt she had control over the situation. For a long time she forgot how to feel anything. Ironic the hotel would provide a conduit, dubious as it was, for that awakening. Now her opinions were different, but she didn't see a reason to fight needlessly over something enjoyable ( ... )
