The reason she was staying over was simply due to her being in the area as dawn approached. It stood to reason she would want to stay with someone she's familiar with for a while.

Unfortunately, Amelia may have tried to be quiet, but she must have jostled Remilia a little as she rolled over and cause her to start waking up. In fact by the time she returns, she'll find the vampire sitting up in bed and looking slightly annoyed with the situation.

Admittedly, she had heard of older creatures, but to a normal human, living that long was still very impressive.

"You weren't really harmed by them were you?" she asked, eyes lighting up with concern at the thought of people just trying to kill Remilia for being a vampire.

"They were mostly idiots, they couldn't do any lasting harm before they were dealt with." Remilia seems mostly unconcerned with it all... She's certainly not saying that there were any close calls, now would she?

"Mostly, but not all?" she enquired curiously, her concern growing somewhat, both for what may have happened to the other girl, and how the hunters may have been dealt with. Just because she understood loss in conflicts like that didn't mean she liked it. Amelia was very idealistic after all.

"Even they failed. I'm still here, aren't I?" As far as Remi is concerned, anyone foolish enough to go after her like that were asking for it.

Amelia could only nod in response, knowing it was hard to argue. After all, she was defending herself, Remilia couldn't be blamed for her those actions. "Well, at least you managed to come out in one piece, yes."

"Not really no. I don't think I've given anyone reason to give me trouble." she responded with a shake of her head, eyes wide and innocent as she tried to remember pf any such incident.

She really is adorable to Remilia, and if it wasn't so improper and all that to hug Amelia, she would have. "Oh? Hard to dislike someone as adorable as you, I suppose."

"Eh, I just try to stay out of trouble. With friends like mine sometimes, we have enough to deal with without my making enemies." she answered. Getting into scrapes was mostly Lina's department, and considering the redhead's track record, that was enough to contend with.
