Being here long enough one learns the ins and outs of how this weird, fucked up place works. The people it brings in and the people it takes away just as keenly, as if they were never here in the first place. Just like hearing about Sam being in this place yet he'd never run into him. Ran into all sorts of people in a large place like this, and

"Dean?" He started to walk faster. It couldn't be him, but Castiel couldn't help the hopeful tone in his voice.

Yet at the same time he didn't like the fact the angel was stuck here either, especially knowing what this place did to people. "Cas! Man, is it good to see you. Did you just get here?"

At least with Dean, the two of them might have a chance at figuring out a way back, because Castiel was flying blind right now, except for the fact that he wasn't actually flying at all. Rather, he was, but not to where he wanted to go and he wasn't going to risk getting lost now that he'd found Dean.

"So, I kinda doubt your angel mojo won't be of any use. At least not the teleporty kind."

"I don't understand. This is a house of iniquity?" He looked around again. "It is very large."

"Yeah, Cas, that's exactly what it is," he said, amused. "And yes it is. It has probably over a hundred-thousand floors and rooms. And so far I've yet to find a way out."
Reply
"Perhaps you haven't looked hard enough." Castiel knew that Dean was smart and resourceful, but there had to be a way out and he was an angel! "And buildings of that size exist nowhere on Earth." Though he'd also seen several other things that didn't exist on Earth here, so now that he thought about it, perhaps they weren't on Earth at all.

He'd spent months here and still hadn't found a way out. Every time he thought he was getting close, something changed and he wound up somewhere completely different, like the hotel itself had been preventing him from leaving.

Misplacing Dean in a strange other-worldly building was the last thing Castiel wanted right now. There could be demons or other angels here, not to mention all the other weird things that could attack either one of them for any number of reasons.

If anything he'd rather have someone who was on his side than someone who wasn't or was only out for themselves, since that put the other at risk. "Well, c'mon then, I don't wanna be sitting in one spot." Dean said as he started down the hall, opposite the way he came. "Already been down that way."

When he caught up, he walked a little closer than was strictly comfortable, arm bumping Dean's. He wasn't please, exactly, that Dean was stuck here, but if Castiel had to be stuck with someone, he would chose Dean, and if he was stuck here without Dean, he would worry about Dean being out there with his brothers and sisters hunting for the man. "I'm sorry it took me so long to find you, Dean. I didn't know you were gone."

"Don't worry about it, man. No one saw this comin', least of all me. I'm just glad I've finally got someone on my side here. This place can be pretty crazy." He wasn't even sure how to broach to Cas just what this place was capable of.

He was glad that Dean wanted him there. He would just have to live up to that. "Crazy how?" He started to look around again. It looked pretty ordinary, but from what he had seen and what Dean had told him so far, it was clearly a strange place. He needed to be ready for anything.

"And supposedly we leave when the hotel, or whoever runs it, wants us to. I ran into someone once, after being here a few months, and they said they'd been strapped down and the bindings wouldn't release until they'd had sex. That's the kind of crazy we're stuck in." God, he hoped none of that happened while they were here.

It seemed he would have to double his efforts to keep Dean safe here. Luckily, he had nothing to distract him from that purpose. He could focus fully on Dean.

"... You're feeling okay though, right?" Dean asked suddenly, turning to look at the angel. "If you ever feel weird or.. not normal, tell me, okay?"
