Being here long enough one learns the ins and outs of how this weird, fucked up place works. The people it brings in and the people it takes away just as keenly, as if they were never here in the first place. Just like hearing about Sam being in this place yet he'd never run into him. Ran into all sorts of people in a large place like this, and ( Read more... )

Castiel looked around curiously. This place was strange and he had no idea where he was or how he'd gotten here. It seemed that the further he walked, the more strange things he would see. Creatures he'd never realized existed seemed to mingle with humans and other creatures and so far in all the things he'd seen, an exit was not among them. He'd been walking for about twenty minutes when he saw what looked like a familiar silhouette.

"Dean?" He started to walk faster. It couldn't be him, but Castiel couldn't help the hopeful tone in his voice.

Of course he would know that gravelly tone anywhere but was surprised none the less when he turned and saw the all too familiar angel walking toward him. And let him tell you, boy was Cas a sight for sore eyes. He hadn't seen or ran into anyone he knew since he arrived here, months ago. So seeing Cas was more than definitely a plus.

Yet at the same time he didn't like the fact the angel was stuck here either, especially knowing what this place did to people. "Cas! Man, is it good to see you. Did you just get here?"

Castiel looked around. "I believe so. Where is here?"

At least with Dean, the two of them might have a chance at figuring out a way back, because Castiel was flying blind right now, except for the fact that he wasn't actually flying at all. Rather, he was, but not to where he wanted to go and he wasn't going to risk getting lost now that he'd found Dean.

"It's a love hotel, like a brothel sorta, except no one gets any money." Dean replied, sticking one hand in his pocket as he leaned against the wall. "I've been stuck here for a couple months, probably more, been all over the damn place and so far I haven't found one way outta here." Which really, really sucked.

"So, I kinda doubt your angel mojo won't be of any use. At least not the teleporty kind."

"I'm afraid not. It only serves to get me more lost, it seems." Well, now it would be more lost because he would misplace Dean. Before, he would have simply maintained an equilibrium of his amount of being lost. He scowled. He was not used to running into problems like this.

"I don't understand. This is a house of iniquity?" He looked around again. "It is very large."

His lips twitched just a bit at the question and the fact that Cas was getting lost, of all things, because that definitely did not suit an Angel of the Lord, such as Cas.

"Yeah, Cas, that's exactly what it is," he said, amused. "And yes it is. It has probably over a hundred-thousand floors and rooms. And so far I've yet to find a way out."

No, it did not suit Castiel at all. He was getting increasingly frustrated at the situation. While they were in here, important things could be happening out there.

"Perhaps you haven't looked hard enough." Castiel knew that Dean was smart and resourceful, but there had to be a way out and he was an angel! "And buildings of that size exist nowhere on Earth." Though he'd also seen several other things that didn't exist on Earth here, so now that he thought about it, perhaps they weren't on Earth at all.

Breaking to watch the finale! I had to download it. Will be back after. iustiviri May 19 2012, 04:10:32 UTC
Dean scowled as well, not quite taking to Cas' tone. "Yeah okay, you go try climbing a thousand-plus stairs and see where it gets you." The hunter snapped, pushing off the wall. "You don't think I haven't been up and down these goddamn hallways day and night trying to find a way out? Then by all means, have at it."

He'd spent months here and still hadn't found a way out. Every time he thought he was getting close, something changed and he wound up somewhere completely different, like the hotel itself had been preventing him from leaving.

Not a problem! I just finished it a little while ago. :D theangel_cas May 19 2012, 04:24:08 UTC
Castiel sighed. "I'm afraid that if I do that, I won't be able to find you again." That was the closest Dean was getting to an apology, because Castiel has apparently learned how to apologize from Dean.

Misplacing Dean in a strange other-worldly building was the last thing Castiel wanted right now. There could be demons or other angels here, not to mention all the other weird things that could attack either one of them for any number of reasons.

For now, Dean would take what he could get. The last thing either of them needed was to be fighting or arguing and storming off in a fit. "Well, I guess we're stuck together then," he said though he didn't sound terribly upset about it.

If anything he'd rather have someone who was on his side than someone who wasn't or was only out for themselves, since that put the other at risk. "Well, c'mon then, I don't wanna be sitting in one spot." Dean said as he started down the hall, opposite the way he came. "Already been down that way."

It okay, because Dean has Cas... idk what Sam has... his tears? okay, that is kinda sad. :( theangel_cas May 19 2012, 05:28:02 UTC
Castiel nodded and followed after Dean. Following Dean was the obvious choice and he didn't even have to think about it. Following Dean was becoming the obvious choice more and more often, he found.

When he caught up, he walked a little closer than was strictly comfortable, arm bumping Dean's. He wasn't please, exactly, that Dean was stuck here, but if Castiel had to be stuck with someone, he would chose Dean, and if he was stuck here without Dean, he would worry about Dean being out there with his brothers and sisters hunting for the man. "I'm sorry it took me so long to find you, Dean. I didn't know you were gone."

I have so many Dean/Cas feels right now /sobs iustiviri May 19 2012, 05:48:57 UTC
If Dean was bothered by the close proximity, he didn't say anything, in fact it didn't really bother him as he was happy to have anyone at all that he knew by his side and truthfully, he was glad it was Cas, someone he knew he could trust and someone he knew would have his back if things went sour.

"Don't worry about it, man. No one saw this comin', least of all me. I'm just glad I've finally got someone on my side here. This place can be pretty crazy." He wasn't even sure how to broach to Cas just what this place was capable of.

They need to hug that shit out. (Also I'm heading to bed, but I'll be around tomorrow) theangel_cas May 19 2012, 06:14:11 UTC
Castiel looked at Dean, lighting up a little."Of course I'm on your side, Dean. Where else would I be?"

He was glad that Dean wanted him there. He would just have to live up to that. "Crazy how?" He started to look around again. It looked pretty ordinary, but from what he had seen and what Dean had told him so far, it was clearly a strange place. He needed to be ready for anything.

Okies! Night! I'll be around tomorrow too~ iustiviri May 19 2012, 06:27:34 UTC
Well.. guess he might have to explain it after all. He cleared his throat a little and resolutely didn't look at at Cas as he spoke, "Well this is a... what'd you call it? Den of iniquity? And the sorta stuff they do in those dens? They do here. A lot, and a lot of other stuff, too. But mostly just... a lot of sex." He totally wasn't flustered at all, nope.

"And supposedly we leave when the hotel, or whoever runs it, wants us to. I ran into someone once, after being here a few months, and they said they'd been strapped down and the bindings wouldn't release until they'd had sex. That's the kind of crazy we're stuck in." God, he hoped none of that happened while they were here.

Castiel looked startled. That seemed like the opposite of paying for sex. "Dean, I won't let that happen to you." He frowned. "... unless you want me to." Not that he was sure why Dean would want that, but Dean had some strange ideas about sex that Castiel didn't understand. Sometimes it seemed Sam didn't understand them, either.

It seemed he would have to double his efforts to keep Dean safe here. Luckily, he had nothing to distract him from that purpose. He could focus fully on Dean.

"Uh, yeah no. I like sex as much as the next guy, but that kind of sex is way too kinky for even me." Plus it had looked kind of gross, really. Who would want plants anywhere near their junk? Shaking his head, he continued to walk, hands stuffed into the pockets of his jeans.

"... You're feeling okay though, right?" Dean asked suddenly, turning to look at the angel. "If you ever feel weird or.. not normal, tell me, okay?"
