Despite the latest event of the hotel, Duo found himself a bit bored. Bored enough to go to the library. Or maybe he was looking for a particular person who might still be around? He wasn't having a hard time with his own set of unusual accessories, though balancing had taken a bit of compensating for.

He grinned gleefully when he spotted the Chinese man and bounded over to 'bother' him.

"Heya Fei! What'cha holed up here for?"

Hearing the familiar voice, Wufei clung tighter to the ladder he'd been part of the way up to reach some of the higher shelves. He was almost tempted to go higher, but didn't need to give Duo more ammunition. So instead he just glanced over his shoulder at him, ears twitching.

"Duo."

Duo considered the ladder and where Wufei was, and decided to lean against the shelves next to it, peering up at him. His tail swished a bit, showing his delight.

"How've ya been, then?"

Of course he'd keep asking questions, didn't really matter if they were answered.

From the other pilot's age and noticeable lack of wings, he definitely wasn't the Duo that Wufei had met before. Met in the hotel's usual sense, of course.

"I've... survived. You?"

Living in the hotel seemed to have loosened Wufei up a bit.

He'd not talked to many at the hotel, just really that alternate version of himself when he first arrived. Definitely Wufei was among the few from his world he'd seen and spoken with. So he would take advantage of it, whether Wufei was agreeable to it or not. Preferably he was, but it was Wufei. He looked around the same age as he was, too, if a bit older.

"Survived? That's always good. Though it'd be better if you were to say you're doing well."

Duo grinned, teasing. Then shrugged slightly.

"Can't really complain, this place is interesting. Different, really."

Wufei snorted. How well could one be doing in the hotel? True, he'd gotten plenty of exercise, but the hotel was frankly rather boring. The fact that most of the books he'd found were erotica didn't help either.

"Fine, I'm doing well enough, though the fact that there are multiple versions of you running around this place has likely shortened my lifespan by a few years."

Duo grinned.

"See? That wasn't so hard, was it? I rather like seeing multiple versions of me, had a rather interesting encounter with one, actually."

Shame? What was that? He'd had fun, that was what mattered most to him.

"Interesting..." He broke off, cheeks burning as the idea registered, along with a mental image of it. He couldn't completely deny the appeal of it.

He laughed, clearly seeing the blush spread along Wufei's cheeks.

"It was fun. You tried it yet?"

Wufei turned towards the shelves, trying to hide it.

"No, can't say I have. I've yet to see an alternate version of myself."

Duo grinned and pushed off from the shelves to climb up the ladder.

"You should, when you see one. Quite fun, at least it was for me."

He moved up a rung, though there wasn't much further he could go before he'd reach the top of the shelves.

"I suspect our definitions of fun differ."

Duo moved right up with him, too amused to let the Chinese man move too far away. Especially with that tail and those ears.

"I know, though even that should be fun for you."

Wufei kept his tail held closely around his waist, the blush still burning on his cheeks.

By this point, Duo was standing on the rung just belong the one Wufei was on, arms propping him up on either side of the other. He couldn't, even if he wanted to, resist reaching up to lightly caress one of the black ears sticking up from the other's head.

"Good."

He'd been too busy trying to push the image of two versions of the braided pilot together out of his mind to notice Duo's progress up the ladder. With that touch, however, it was made immediately appearant. He dug his claws into the ladder, trying to push back the shiver.

"What are you doing?"
