Glad to see Doyle coming home at last - sound like there were some difficult times in his childhood (even if he did get a rabbit), but it's lovely for him to realise he has a home with Bodie!

God, that does sound really corny! I enjoyed speculating a bit about Doyle's family and about his alienation from them. Not because they're horrible or anything, but just because that's sometimes what happens with family. Luckily Doyle has Bodie to be family as well.

Oh, I forgot to say - the original prompt was from a Chinese New Year themed fic challenge, so that was in my head. I only picked Year of the Tiger because I thought it sounded good and because I was born in the year of the tiger!
