Disbelief
I almost can't believe it.
My friend, Aveline, has just died.
She suffered a Level 5 brain aneurysm on Thursday (her birthday of all days) and went into a coma.
She died this morning after not regaining consciousness.
This is going to hit a lot of people very hard. Valan especially becaue Aveline was one of the first people that Val meet and lived with when he moved to Canberra.
I did love and adore Aveline, despite being able to get on her nerves and our more than frequent disagreements.
She will be greatly missed.
The funeral will most likely be in Melbourne, so it looks as though I will be making a pre-emptive visit before Jacqui and Damian's wedding.
There will be a lot of people to catch up with but, like with Keg's funeral, it's always a sad time to gather and revisit the past.
Please give no sympathy and empathy for me.
There are others who do suffer greater need for it at this time.
