Hazing and Australian Humor

Okay, so this week has been the official kickoff for Orientation week for the 2006 school year. As I posted before, the "Fossils" have insisted that the "Freshers" wear diapers on our heads at all times. My own superiority complex prevents me from wearing the stupid diaper. I'm almost 21, I've already paid my hazing/initiation dues, and I DO NOT ( Read more... )

I wouldn't go out an get drunk unless I was around someone I really really really trusted...so therefore I have never been drunk! I offer you the same advice. Ditch it if it may bring you harm....your in a foreign country...things could go wrong.

Good Luck.

Hey girlie! Okay, since I've been there before (drunk, that is), here's a little drinking advice: 1) If drunkenness is the goal, make someone you trust completely swear an oath to protect you (perhaps in blood); 2) Drunk can sneak up on you even though it may have never done that in the past; 3) Sometimes hangovers are worth it, but more often than not they aren't; 3) Watching drunk people is fun only if you are drunk yourself, otherwise it can get boring/stupid very fast; 4) When most people are so drunk that they throw up, the some reminders of the night will be ruined clothes/hair and the BIGGEST migrane God ever gave someone (NOTE: Some people will throw up the next morning and be sick for two days, along with all the other hangover favorites; 5) If every single person is planning on having at least ONE drink, find your own ride home (you don't need to be put in jail for some random drunk charge in another country--trust me on that one!!!); and 6) If you do decide to drink (no matter how much that is), make sure you tell me about ( ... )

Miss you! Love!

Your mother advises be careful but have fun. anonymous February 17 2006, 01:00:36 UTC
If you slow down when you start feeling a little loopy and keep hydrated, you won't get stinkin' drunk, you'll be sober enough to remind everyone who DID get stinkin' drunk of all the hysterically funny and stupid things they did while they were too stinkin' drunk to remember themselves, and still have a good time. Of course, you could embellish your tales of their behavior and have even more fun :-) Just be careful, Ta. Don't drink to the point of the room spinning or feeling barfy (remember two weeks ago!). Trust me. The room keeps spinning for a looooooong time once it has started. Have fun!! Oh, and I like #1. Smoochers! Mom
