I was out running errands with a low fever. pasta leftovers was a big staple for me in college -- just add butter and salt (when I couldn't afford sauce)

steam a pound of them with some chopped-up shallots or onions, a splash of white wine, butter, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook till they're perfect or liquid is boiled all the way off. God's favorite delicious basic food.
