...though I realize I'm somewhat contradicting my own personal frustrations, at the moment, at least I was in an active position to stop this whole ordeal before it started. I should have locked the base down the moment the Gizmon hit Tetha...
I nearly destroyed the entire universe because of my own stupidity. So I'm very experienced with this whole "blaming yourself for mass destruction" thing.
And your comment?
That one's not going to fly.
We don't exactly have any detection methods for who comes from what reality. There's no way you could have known this was a different Kagura, that he would do all of this.
As I said, there's nothing you could have done, actively. If the Tsukasa Kagura you remember from your world is different... even if he isn't, if he never made such a move there...
There's nothing for you to be accountable for.
I, on the other hand... the security there was my responsibility. I was manning that station, in case anything happened. And...
...I won't dwell on it, though. It only tells me what I need to do now.
...
When I'm finished, a flea won't be able to sneak into Meister Castle undetected.
Well, at least it turned out well enough for someone.
But, good. Our detention facilities are still be assessed - we seem to have had some escapees during the carnage... But I'll check with the Commanders about transport. And see about keeping Masaru as far AWAY from that Digimon as possible, since I doubt a Digi-Egg would be very forthcoming.
...
Um.
Well.
Though I will admit the medical ward is kind of overlooked, it was... just a concussion. Really. Solarmon took the brunt of things.
Sorry. Kelsey's on painkillers right now, but she wants you to know that if she hears you blaming yourself for this...
//more mumbling
And especially since nobody could have known ahead of time that Kagura was a mole, she'll... Well, I don't think you can actually do that with an IV stand, but...
Basically, in the middle of her annoyance at being injured and being on medication, she's trying to say that she doesn't want you to blame yourself for something no one could have predicted. He got us all by surprise, no matter where we were.
Yes, I understand that... I'd be a hypocrite to try and take all that blame when I'm telling Touma the exact opposite. There's just some... frustration, knowing things I could have done ahead of time to prevent this from happening... but that's all hindsight, isn't it?
I want to say next time we'll be better prepared, but if I have anything to say about it, there won't be a next time.
Well, at least a majority of the debris is out of the way.
But about security, I was hoping to offer to make the new system. I'm pretty good with security systems. Might also make a few more defensive systems besides the doors and lasers.
A lot of the issue was more... the... operating system backing the security systems up. See, alot of what had been modified needed to be made in such a way that it would sync with what had already been done by TigerVespamon's forces in the past.
However, as most of that's been utterly destroyed?
I can, with the Commanders permission, hopefully write a new operating system from scratch. The issue will be... ah. I don't like to put it like this, but... "dumbing it down" for people from the 21st Century, so they can use it, will be necessary.
However, with advancements of 31st Century technology in mind, I can hopefully create something that will not be as weak against attacks as our previous operating system was.

Don't blame yourself, Brainy.
I was the one who allowed this to happen.

I have to say, Brainy.
You make some very convincing comparisons.

And we have a prisoner for you guys. Hanamura Hitoshi's partner.
This is your first injury as an organic, Brainy. You don't... need someone to play doctor for you, do you?
