It doesn't take Jen long to answer the door since she was up and getting ready. She finds she still moves slowly and she chalks it up to her various health problems.

She's wearing a pair of her regular jeans, deciding she'd rather look more put together than she would if she wore the jeans Alex bought her; they're too big everywhere except the waist. Instead, she gave in and went with the infamous Bella Band. She can justify it by reminding herself they're still her regular jeans. But the shirt she decided on is loose, almost bordering on peasant style. Since the whole world already knows, her wardrobe choices say a lot about her state of mind.

When she opens the door, she gives her friend a smile.

JR smiles back as she takes in Jenny's appearance. At least she's dressed, which is honestly something she wasn't sure if she could count on. And, per usual, she's managed to make anything look put together. It's the same skill her sister has. As for JR, she's dressed in the dress slacks and button up blouse that her position at the DC office demands. She almost misses her jeans, polo shirts, and flats.

"You look good for a woman who was probably puking her guts out ten minutes ago," she says by way of hello. Despite her teasing tone, she means it.

"I don't even think it was that long ago," she says with a glance down at herself. Somehow, she looks more put together than she feels. But how she looks and how she feels seem to hardly match up lately, given the fact that she is wearing real clothes and has been for a few weeks. "I've actually lost weight," she adds and moves so JR can come inside.

JR steps inside and glances around the foyer before looking back at Jenny. "My sister said she always did the first few weeks." It surprises her how easily the information leaves her mouth. Then again, that whole mess is back in Arizona and distance makes for an easier time of it. "Something about the body adjusting."
