If you do not tell Ellis - not ask, TELL him - that you MUST have new boots by the next game, I will be seriously angry at you. The blisters are not something that should happen, and are not something that Dr. Scholl's will fix. You NEED to talk to him THIS week.
Mom-mode aside - I'm thrilled that you (otherwise) had an exciting first DMing experience. It really was an incredible thing, what we did. Too bad we didn't knock you off the podium, though. That'll have to be the goal next time, I guess.
