nice wrap up and enjoyable sources. it was a hard subject to tackle but it was actually pulled off for the most part I think. I would have probably previewed the concluding point a little though, as it is rather long and a skimmer or anyone really might naturally become so skeptical early on to toss the article away without discovering the ties that bring it all together
i mean, beside the critiquing, I have always felt that way about ethical eating anything. I love biology and I think that in combination with growing up on my familys farms and in the woods have always made me see it that way. I mean, aside from all of those poor chickens and stuff. :( poor guys
the person thing, I suppose in a spiritual sense works. or maybe even in general. but i would never let that effect the way I might tr(eat) a plant. If they have a nervous system, it must be in the 4th dimension or somethin' cuz we aint found it yet maybe its just embedded in karma who knows but i do definitely feel strangely depressed when I have a plant in my bedroom and it dies. it is just generally upsetting. I suppose it smells upsetting as well. I always kept a flower when somebody had died. I sacrifice it, and watch it die over the next week. The smell always makes me feel upset all over again.
