finished after 59 hrs. One of the very best games I've ever played. I'd live in this world if I could. I have to find the rest of the treasures. but maybe I'll let her rest for a little bit.
That'll have to wait till I get around to getting a wii. hopefully later this year..
Did you do the "start from the beginning" option after finishing oookami? Does it have worthwhile stuff in it? I want to look around for stuff but I don't know if I want to have to re-talk to everyone and find the brushes again.
As far as I know, there is nothing special you get for playing through the game again, except that you get to start with most of the stuff you had when you originally beat the game. My friend actually collected all 101 beads and maxed EVERYTHING out on his first play through. I just don't have time for all that, but getting all the beads grants you invincibility (which you don't really need since the game is pretty forgiving to begin with).
Yeah The Baron was a neat character. I own The Cat Returns as well, though I liked Whisper of the Heart more. My favorite Miyazaki movies are Nausicaa and Princess Mononoke. Gotta love those man vs. nature flicks. :)
Okami is great. I still need to finish it -- Zelda: Twilight Princess and Final Fantasy XII seem to have eaten up most of my precious free time. I've finished Zelda (marvelous), and once I'm done with FFXII, I'm going to finish Okami.
If you have a cube, you can also play Twilight Princess on that... the game is no different, though the Wii controls are a lot of fun. =p As wonderful as Okami is, Zelda made me completely forget about it for a month or so.
