Um, no? Last time instant noodles were a significant part of my diet was at university. These days it's more of an occasional "I'm feeling lazy and not very hungry tonight, I'll just have instant noodles". I did however halve my overall daily calorific intake. Halving portion sizes for breakfast helped a lot with that, and was surprisingly easy to maintain; cutting out snack food also made a big difference, but was also noticeably more difficult. I found it easier to do extremely low calorie levels with two meals rather than three, but I could only do two meals a day while self employed; now I've got a standard office job I'm eating more, but I'm still calorie counting all the meals and treating my cycle to work as minus 200 calories due to exercise.
I'm sure I remember you saying at the big J that you'd amassed a huge amount of savings to survive while running your business, and I thought it was down to incredibly cheap eating.
Perhaps I misunderstood and time crystallised it in my head as a fact.
