I actually went to PetSmart (or one of those BIG chain stores) and bought a book about rats. I'm even lurking on a Yahoogroup for rat owners!

I won't do it until after my trip to Ireland, though. I can't imagine going to any of my friends and asking them to "ratsit" for two weeks. Well, okay, I can imagine doing it. I just can't imagine any of them actually saying "yes."
