So here we are again, that wonderful, wonderful time in the week where I get to experience the glory that is Torchwood. Thoughts? Yes, please.
Ooooo! Jack has a new opening speech :D You know the doobee doobee doobee bit at the beginning? That is WAY louder than the rest of the show. It just scared the googles out of me.
Awww no Ianto on missions any more.
HEE. Tosh calling Jack on his flirting is priceless.
In other news, I really like the new score for this season already. The Who/Torchwood composers are brilliant men.
Okay, Torchwood is meant to be scarier this season which made me skeptical because even supernatural doesn't scare me but... flickering lights in hospitals? scary waking up men with promises of future threats? Yeah. Scary.
Sometimes you realise how brutal Torchwood is. Jack can become really disturbing sometimes. And that scene of Ianto just watching from above is very haunting.
But LOL! Jack coming to him afterwards and checking how scary he was. BRILLIANT. Yey Ianto with a personality! Woo!
"Really, shivers down my spine."
"You don't look scared."
Woah woah woah. Doesn't Ianto have a sonic screwdriver? And YEY for him telling off the suspects upon sniffing his top secret generator.
I don't like nastybadcop!Jack. Or people scaring Janet. Leave Janet alone!

HAHA! OMG when did Ianto get so cocky?!
LOL! Ianto faking electrocution. Seriously. Thank God for his change in character. It's very bizzare but very endearing. And he's certainly giving Jack a run for his money.
What was that about men in bed? And Ianto going to agree with Gwen and Jack coughing?!?!
Seriously Jack is terrifying. But I'm loving the whole feel of this episode. It's very professional, exactly the opposite of what I didn't like about the first episode. Good job, Chris Chibnall!
That arm thing is disgusting. I feel sick. Urg.
Does Ianto automatically catch everything Jack throws at him? And I like this new "shove Ianto next to Jack in every scene" thing. Makes for good graphics. :D
"What makes us human? Is it our minds or bodies?" - I think I just liked Gwen. What's going on? It's just like the good ol' days!
HAHAHAHA. WHY IS OWEN GARDENING IN A CRISIS?! He's like the Crowley of Torchwood.
I like these new little bits of Torchwood we're seeing. It makes you realise how small the portion of what was revealed in the first season really was.
I'm so happy that Torchwood manages to get smaller-part actors that are actually talented. It's very refreshing and makes the show a lot easier to watch. Oh and the music starting in the waking of the sleepers scene is really good :D
The morgue box which Ianto used for Beth was number 007. How good.
"What is it about this girl with light bulbs?" <3 Jack.
Aww Mike and Beth are adorable. Oh piffle. She killed him. Poor Beth! Only Torchwood could make you feel sorry for the bad guys.
ICK. Seriously Torchwood's become quite gory. Eww. Still good acting from the supporting cast though.
Owen : "How do you know that?"
Ianto : "I know everything. And it says so at the bottom of the screen."

OMG SERIOUSLY. This is the Ianto episode of love. I wish I could quote that phone line. It was hysterical. I'll try.
Owen: "Have you tried the phones?"
Tosh : "The phones are down!"
Owen: "But..."
Ianto : "No phones. No mobiles. No tin cans with bits of string. Nothing. *mimics fake phone* Hello? No. Because the phones /aren't working./"
EEEE BEST LINE EVER:
Jack: With a dashing hero like me on the case what could possibly go wrong?
Ianto: *back at hub listening on com* You have to admit, he is dashing.

Wow. Torchwood really blew the budget on big bangs in this episode.
The actress who plays Beth is amazing. She's an incredible actress. And Eve Myles is excellent with her.
OMG Tosh with a gun and skirt is hot. That could be a fetish, right there.
Oh, Beth's death was surprisingly sad. And the music (again!) is stupendous.
Hee! Jack is adorable as a pirate. And chatting to Gwen about her marriage is very sweet. They really are best friends. Thank goodness this episode is showing that in the right light and not in a shippy light.
Over all?
One of the best episodes yet. I loved it. Roll on next week which looks even more awesome.

Yes, he does tell me stuff. But it's the funny stuff. Anecdotes. You saw the look on his face when John said that. Anything that hits him that hard, he probably doesn't share with anyone.
