I loved this story! You used the Harry Potter canon without repeating it, having Jensen and Jared a few years older than Harry and his friends. The connection with Neville is nicely done and I almost thought Jared was going to be a reflection of Harry's home situation but you did not take that path and nicely done. I loved how Jared named his friends (Ned, Florence, Daphne) and even Ned's burial with all the small details done so well (buried next to Jared's dad deep enough not to float up with rain or critters could get access). And the circle of life, repeated several times throughout the story was touched on nicely. The connection between Jensen and Jared was wonderfully done: Jared so worshipful and Jensen so snarky but seemingly inevitable. I did not expect all the partings and reunitings but they were dramatic and fun if in some tense situations. I loved that Jensen spoke words of love for Jared first even though Jared seemed to know what he wanted sooner. And the soul bonding (loved how you used Julian in this story, a nice

I am absolutely delighted that you enjoyed the story overall and appreciated the little nuances I added (just as self-indulgence, really); a lot of love went into this and I'm glad it came across. And I have to admit, I really enjoyed adding Julian to this cast - he's so wizardish.

And yeah - I thank you profusely for appreciating the 'art' - I did it all myself, lol. I just wanted visuals to bring the story to life a bit and yeah, for the readers to keep track of all the characters and the flora and fauna!

you know that feeling when you get up in the morning and check your flist on your phone blearily and find out that someone has morphed two of your favorite things into one AWESOME thing? and that you get to get up and read it and have happy little spasms all over your apartment?

well i do!! :D harry potter was my #1 love before supernatural, and reading this was like going back to that time of magic and harry and hogwarts, and it was so good *nostalgic smile* the way that you managed to intertwine jared and jensen into harry's world...perfect.

also, now i have SUCH a huge craving to see j2 play british people in some movie or something, because the way you wrote the colloquialisms into this fic--as an american, my heart melted, because hot boys with british accents? yeeeahh, life doesn't get better than that.

You know, I've been working on this original story for a coupe of years, and I'm thinking of turning it into a screenplay and honest to goodness, I was thinking (in my wildest dreams) - wouldn't it be cool to have Jensen play the hero (who's a Brit) and I keep wondering if he can do the accent convincingly. It's a good dream to have :)
