I'm posting this only because it was too long for IRC. :[a
Road's thoughts on the diece cast essentially boil down to "ha ha ha look at the funny little humans," because THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE TO HER--like, my headcanon is basically that Road is one of THE original Noah--other than the Earl, she's the only one who's never died, which means she's got this really sort of skewed/distant perspective of humanity. She hates humans (I think she canonically refers to them as subhuman) and she thinks they're filthy and a pestilence upon the earth, but it's not the sort of immediate burning AUGH I HATE THEM HATE THEM HATE THEM that, like, Jasdevi and Skinn exhibit. She hates them with this sort of old patient hatred that bides its time and isn't really bothered by little hiccups in The Plan.
And like, PROBABLY OUT OF EVERYONE Haruki is her favorite, because he shows the most promise, in that when he's crazy, his rhetoric is very similiar to that of the Noah Family! WIPE OUT ALL HUMANS, CLEANSE THE EARTH! But it's also funny because she met him before he had his recent IC tailspin, so she knows he is/was, at his core, this really nice gentle person who had serious issues with killing. HE'S HILARIOUS! (It's the same reason why she likes Yuki, minus the whole "and he also really gets it" aspect.) Like, Road doesn't believe that humans can truly understand how terrible they are, and she's watched seven thousand years' worth of them make the same mistakes and creep forward like bugs in the mud, but even among bugs you have one that occasionally evolves into something that can stand on its hind legs. :')
But I think she's met and threaded with all of the cast in camp at this point, and they're all REALLY SCREWED UP PEOPLE oh man this is GREAT, you guys are the perfect examples of all the things that are wrong with humanity! And you're all in this little glass cage (camp) where I can sit back and watch as you as humans FAIL and FAIL and also FAIL SOME MORE, and if I want to sometimes I can take a stick and poke it into the ant's nest and stir things up. (Kazuki is like her metaphorical stick, only one she doesn't have to do anything about--he just is THERE and things HAPPEN and wooooooow.)
But it's ROAD and she's so, so old and so removed from humanity in nearly every way (she clings to the few scraps of her human identity that remain--it's canon that Wisely's the only one who completely gives himself over to his memory), that if/when they die for real, like humans do, she's not going to be broken up or sad or even angry about it--it's just because of camp's unique situation, where people who die CAN be revived, which means that if SHE felt like it, she could take one of them and kill him over and over and over as much as she liked, in various ways--that's the potential for a lot of fun for her! But if someone took away that potential for even one death of many, it would make her angry in that sort of SELFISH LITTLE BRAT way, and she'd take steps to take out/end whoever did that to HER TOYS.
