I just watched Pride and Prejudice, because I read the book last week, and though I loved the book, the movie was horrendous. I don't know how anyone who enjoyed the book could find that movie adequate. They made Lizzie into a snotty, even bitchy, girl, and Kiera Knightly was awful in the role. i totally agree. I have such a thing for Mr. Darcy in the A&E version, that when I read the book in high school, senior year, and we watched the movie in class, I was actually inspired to put it in my senior write up in the yearbook. no lie. It says, Love you... [all friends initials] and then Darcy! i'm too uncool.

Anyways, I sooooo agree with you about Lizzie! I wanted to slap Kiera Knightly for sullying such a great character. Have you noticed too how Bridget Jones' Diary is more or less, the exact same story? The author gives minor credit to Jane Austen, but I mean, even the opening line of both book and movie totally mimic the book.. it is a truth universally acknowledged... you know?

anyways, so sorry to ramble like this. I am a huge P&P fan though.

Ahahaha, in the yearbook...that's cute, Wendy. It's ok, my mom LOVED the book and movie and bought the A&E version on DVD. It is good, and she thinks Darcy is SOOO hot. It's so funny. She said to me, "What other movies is this guy in? I can't imagine that a man so handsome is out there and not starring in movies." As for Bridget Jones, I've never seen the whole thing, but now I must so I can note the comparison. Also, isn't the lead guy's name in that Darcy?

Also, I would love to visit, or for you to visit me, and I can't wait to see Tim's place!
