So I spent my day relatively productively. I wrote a cover letter and prepared my resume to be sent for the paraprofessional job in summer school. Yesterday a friend told me that in January she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She had her thyroid removed in March and all the cancer should be gone, but just to make sure, she'll have to undergo radiation treatment in July. What strikes me is how brave this girl is. I read some of it, but it's in the original middle English, which means that every two seconds you have to check the margins for a translation, or just guess what the words mean. Stonehill played in the D-II Final Four last night in Springfield. Nick got me a ticket so I was able to witness the madness that is March.
