I think he also ran out of commas near the end: Hauf's husband supports his wife's position. "She has to pursue this. Not only has her civil rights been violated this is an English class she took, not a political science course," Fritz Hauf said. "She should be graded on the composition not the 'G' word." No one ever taught him about "[sic]," either.

I think the point here is the student was asked to write a theological paper without mentioning the word "god" once. Which seems a little rediculous as the majority of modern religions contain at least one deific figure. More importantly, the subject of her paper was the impact on Christianty (a monotheistic patriarchal religion, assuming our Lord has a wang) on the development of the USA. The teacher actually approved this subject, even though he acknowledged it would be near impossible for her to follow his one stiplation. which was NOT to not mention gods (note teh small g, plural tense. By this I mean "do not refer to any deific beings ( ... )

Well, yeah, but she used it 41 times in a 10 page paper. It is easy to, say, replace "God" with "deity," and by prohibiting use of the monotheistic upper-case G designation, it'd force her to focus more on the politics or histories of religion than the mythos of Christianity. I had a twelfth grade teacher who threatened to fail anyone using the verb, "to be" in our final paper, but no one complained about their constitutional rights of free speech being violated, they just used other verbs.

Oh I agree, as much as he gave her an impossible assignment, she flaunted it right in his face.

And free specch usually refers to expression of a belief/opinion/feeling, not grammar ^^ Though I see your point.

Ah. For a moment, I thought you were talking about this stupid bitch who, despite solid, overwhelming evidence of cheating the last election and being involved in numerous illegal ventures, is still cheerfully running our country.

Also, she's been quoted to say "The Lord has put me in the place" during her last interview while civilians rallying in the streets for her to step down experience a study on police brutality.

"I don't loose my First Amendment rights when I walk into that college," Hauf said. She is demanding an apology from the teacher and that the paper be re-graded.

My GOD. >:||
That girl was told CLEARLY what could and couldn't be done to get a passing grade on the paper, and she clearly did NOT follow the rules. Therefor, she deserved the grade she got, since she totally missed the point of the paper. Its like writing a paragraph thats uspposed to be on government on mcdonalds. She knew the conciquesnces, and it just proves shes a stupid, spoiled, rich fuck who thinks she can get anything she wants. >:[
And what I find funny about people and demaninding apologies, is that like, do you REALLY think that the person means it when they say sorry? They probably just think your stupid. :/

Augh. Kids these days.
