The Doll Hut
Before I post this... I want to apologize to Dani Monster... sorry, I did a jack ass move of not getting your info first before RSVPing.... again, mucho's sorries....
Sunday I was supposed to take JJ and HB out to this BBQ in LFV off the I-5 from the OC toward LA..... but due to a SNAFU on my part, I didn't get all my ducks in a row and we never made it....
HB wanted to just go out and leave the boy somewhere so we could have a quiet evening (and as parental units, we do need some alone time to get minds back on right so that we don't eat our young.... believe me... it keeps parents from going "parental".
So she suggested the Doll hut.... small, dark, serves beer and spirits (third bar I've visited in teh OC and still no fuckin' Wild Turkey!!! WTF OC!? What do you have against some fuckin' WILD TURKEY!?). Bartender was nice, smoking allowed (take that board of health!!!), and they had a kitty named "Boozer" who was a nice kitty, jukebox had a lot of great music and there was even some pool and a dart bord.....
I need to go back when a bands playing... but I still enjoyed it's comfortable stools and relaxing, environment.... it what a bar should be....
