Oh, I feel bad. I have closed the community. I had fun posting the contests, but I just didn't have the time to commit to it anymore! I was always running late with posts, and never got a very high turnout. So rather than me try to keep it going, I ended it on a high note.

Instead any contests I would have posted? Are now going over at frosted_pie.

Every so often I will post up a screen-cap or a link to a tutorial, or maybe even some song lyrics for people to make icons. You make as many as you want, play around as much as you want, and then post them up to the community for all to see. You get feedback, suggestions a whole bunch of stuff, and there is no time-limit. So you can go back and do old challenges, or just do the new ones.

well... it was good while it lasted. I'm glad i managed to participate in the very last challenge ever. *tear* i really liked the lyrical challenges... they made me happy. they made life easy for me since i never know what to do with text... anyway you can send me songs that you might have used in the future :D?
