He'd long been aware, of course, the TARDIS' feelings about his traveling companions -- it ran through a number of shades of indifference, and on occasion spiked up into mild annoyance. If the Doctor wanted to talk about his little human friends, so be it. Perhaps she would finally achieve a sort of understanding in him, even if it was in an incarnation half his lifetime ago.

The TARDIS finished materializing and after a moment, her human form stepped outside, looking for her Time Lord.

The Doctor follows the sound to the source of the sound -- his TARDIS, or at least, what will be his TARDIS, from another point in her time-line. He stops in front of her, with a little awkward smile of greeting.

"You wanted to talk. Well. Let's talk."

The TARDIS simply nods, not feeling it necessary to deal with any welcoming pleasantries.

"You asked me to turn to you if I take issue with the humans. Well, I take issue with them, and I take issue with you sooner defending their inane habits than my wishes."

He sighed, thinking through a number of different ways this conversation could end, and none of them cheered him. However, he kept his voice even and calm -- and hoped for the best.

"You take issue with any, in particular, or all, as a group? And what would you wish of them? Of me?"
