as many of you have noticed this community is going downhill quite rapidly. many members are giving up and throwing in the towel. mods are leaving. i however refuse to give up. although i had been absent for much of this communities existence i have read back and seen various votes to people and such. many of you are striking individuals that are ( Read more... )

I agree with this idea. The entire purpose of the community seems rather pointless if we do nothing other than deny/accept membership applications.

Right now you do not have room to make any such implements. I, for one, do not think the problem of this community is its lack of new applicants. On the contrary, the members involved [with the exception of a few disoriented kids] have kept the quality and constitution of the community to par. You, on the other hand, have come and gone and really do not deserve to be suggesting alt options to enhance "eliteness".

What are you going to do to prove your status? And if not prove, Michael, then improve. I honesty dont care if you began the community.

also, what would be the point of posting show information? A community dedicated to band contacts should be made if that is how you are going to extend your participation.

I am one hundred percent for the posting of artwork and news, but stories are meant for personal journals.

I think you should think about not being passe.

i do believe the first paragraph was complimenting the members on doing such a fine job keeping this community from falling apart. also i have apologized many times now for being awol but i do believe that you know nothing of my situation/s and you're merely throwing stones for the sake of doing so.

im not trying to prove anything. merely improve, and im currently talking to people thinking up ways on how to do so.

and in regard to your second comment, i dont mean stories like long drawn out epic novels or stories about pointless things that go on in one's day to day life, i mean interesting things that you would like to share with people.

so i ask you, what do YOU think would be fitting in means of improving this community. let he/she without fault cast the first stone darling.

I have flawlessly participated, you can check for yourself. My stones are practically gold nuggets.

As for your personal problems, deal with them and return when you're relaxed, but dont expect to be given the treatment you were given as an active mod.

My suggestion to improve the community: make an entry listing every accepted member and allow comments to who should stay and who should not. Then pursue enhancement in the form of artwork, intelligent posts, and stricter voting regulations.

You were joking about the "politically incorrect" thing, right?

for the most part, maybe wrong wording. im recovering from severe food poisoning and pain killers do alter some things. it was immature, i'll say that.

Honestly, I really like this community. A vast majority of the people are really intelligent. I think you should find a way to get people to participate more. It could be as simple as having everyone anwser some sort of question every week. Make it mandartory. In doing this you will be able to get debates/drama going and everyone will have the pleasure of really others ideas, theories, and thoughts. You'll also be able to get rid of people who don't ever post.

Actually, I kind of like that idea.

thank you. I think it would work because, anyone who is to lazy to take five minutes out of their week to anwser a simple question should not be here.
