Pride, which leads to Bitterness when they realize that not everyone appreciates eliteness.

I guess pride, but I don't like that word. People associate it with being full of yourself. The whole idea behind being elite is knowing that you are better than a vast majority of people, but not to the point where people hear you speak and want to stick sharp things in their ears.

If anything I would say cynicism and wit.
