suggestions, feel free to tell me to fuck off.

I am once again going to suggest that we have someone, my suggestion would be impartial, ask us a question once a week. It can be anything that will bring about good discussion or debate. He's seems to enjoy doing it already, so why not make it official. Make a rule that every accepted member has to respond ( Read more... )

I love the banner and your idea. You've got my support for it. Perhaps, though, we could let others volunteer to ask questions though, lest all the responsibility fall to impartial? I'm not personally volunteering but someone may have a neat idea for a question or impartial may be busy or unable to think of one for the week.

I think it's a great way to cull out those who aren't pulling their weight or meeting our standards.

I concur. Anyone could ask a question. He just seems like a good person for the task.

Ooh, how I adore seeing my username plastered in all of this scheming.

However, I do agree that I will have my busy days, and other members should feel free to ask "official question of the week" questions as well. I wouldn't mind doing this as an informal unscheduled thing though. I like the idea of collecting people's responses only to use it against them at a future date!

I just noticed this, but why is there a tildae before "The" in the LJ link? That will block you from actually getting to the web page.

Nah, it actully works if you do it. I think it was made for people too lazy to write out the word user.

i dig the idea, but school's about to start for me [and i'm guessing others as well], so making this mandatory in addition to voting on a frequent basis might be a little too much.

but, i still like it <3
