_favorite movies, why?
Institute Benjamenta: The Brothers Quay feature length debut, in my opinion the perfect movie. The most gorgeous cinematography of any movie I've seen today, the perfect score by Lech Jankoski, and the amazing acting done by Mark Rylance and Alice Krige. I've watched this movie about seven times and each time I notice something new that makes me love it even more.
The Piano Teacher: My favorite Michael Haneke film, with Isabella Rosselini giving a flawless performance as one of my favorite characters ever. The amazing depth that Haneke covers of her characters emotions is great.
A Zed and Two Naughts: Because it has two of my favorite themes; symmetry and decay, an amazing soundtrack by Michael Nyman, and it's my favorite Peter Greenaway film.
_favorite books+author, why?
"House of Leaves" : It's amazing depth, and all the word games and puzzles that nobody will ever find. Plus it's got a great story.
Franz Kafka, because he too covers such a depth in his novels that it amazes me.
_favorite clothing store
Structure, because it has the closest thing to designer fashion that I can afford.
_new or used,why
New, because I can never find anything that fits perfectly used, and half the time the shirts smell really weird when bought used.
whatev..:
_what is your favorite season & why?
Winter, because I get to wear long sleeves and I love the way snow smells. (Plus in summer everybody's sweaty and that's pretty gross)
_what is your favorite part of the opposite (or same) sex & why?
Face structure, because it tends to be the first thing I notice and it's the first thing I decide if I like or not.
_list your 3 favorite pieces of art (this can be anything you think is art) and why?
1. Bunuel's and Dali's Un Chien Andalou, because it amazing and I love surrealism.
2. John Duncan's Blind Date, because somebody at a point needed to fuck a corpse.
3. Matthew Barney's Cremaster Cycle, because despite all the pretentious reviews of it, it really is amazing.
_what would you like your future profession to be? film maker, or andy warhol pt 2
_what are your 5 favorite objects? pen, computer, dvd player, bed, glasses
_what is your most intense memory or secret? I pooped my pants once in preschool and the teacher took me to a back room to let me borrow a new pair. I have no idea why this is my most intense memory, but it is.
_what are 5 things you hate about yourself?
I'm bad at keeping myself in good shape, my feet smell really bad when I wear sandals, my hair never does what I want it too, I apparently talk about film in a condescening fashion, and I don't put forth enough effort in my studies.
