It's true. I don't think intelligence is the only thing that makes a person elite. What about being imaginitive or clever or fun. Yes, fun. I realized that if I had to sit and talk to most of the people here for more than ten minutes I would get bored at hearing them drone on and on. I think I enjoy the simple things in life way to much to be elite.

I am sure none of that makes sense. I don't articulate very well.

this makes me sad; i've only resumed my mod position this morning, and i am honestly working towards creating a community based more on people's feelings & opinions, rather than looks. i was talking with meatequalsbad tonight and we made plans to entirely revamp the application altogether, to include more sentimental questions & personal convictions. it would have been nice to see people start debates of their own accord.

i can't blame you, as i myself left previously for similar reasons. but i'm trying to reshape this place into something far better, and i hate to see you go - i really enjoyed your commentary.

I am happy that you have decided to change things around. I can't help but wish I could do more to make this something I would enjoy, but I think far too many of the people here feel that they are right and everyone else is wrong. No one wants to see things from anyone else's point of view. They just want to look good.

oh wow! I just noticed that you are from Pheonix. I lived a large chunk of my life in Tucson. Not that it's really relevent to anything. I just visit there a lot.

I had, as I've mentioned before, wished that there was more for the members to do than just be bitchy and vote no with the occassional, begrudging, yes. I think that sugarcoatedsour will definitely make good on her promises, however. It's too bad to see you go. I like you and find you funny and very insightful. I understand you can't really take back your farewell (at least not so soon) and if you DO start a community such as the on you mentioned, though I plan to stick around here as well, definitely let me know when you get it started. I might be interested in joining. ;)

I don't really get it, but I wish you well. For the record I think being fun is just as important as being smart. Being creative or imaginative is probably better than being able to spell.

It isn't especially cultured or intelligent to play video games or read comic books, and those are the things I like best in life. I think it isn't nessecarily the members but the format. And perhaps we will see you back here sometime. I think I will make a post about guilty pleasures now. You inspired me.
