And what if you are 18 and still fucked up but making slow progress?
Does this mean you won't qualify for social counseling as a lifetime career?

slow progress is better then not moving at all.

most people who are fucked up go into careers that help others, ironically. funny how things work out, isnt it?

im majoring in psychology, and... well if you knew my background youd be like hahaha wtf? whyyyy?

well, they, assumingly, do it because they are able to realte to others in situations of which they've been through themselves
and with that, they make the best counselors, etc.
I'm only asking because I am 18 and still not yet emotionally stable
It worries me.
I would like to know your background.
