I'm really hoping there's a civil war. Like, it's messed up that I'd say that, but I'm all for change.

And I honestly don't know why you're trying to explain the situation. There's like, no question that these 'immigration reforms' are incredibly fucked up. It's a waste of effort. This is a more black-and-white issue than the invasion of Iraq was, I think. You've gotta be pretty far right to be in support of cracking down on illegal immigrants.

That being said, there's a small part of me that really wishes a noticeable number of people would disappear, be it Mexicans going south or Republicans combusting, simply because the job market sucks right now.

Also: DEY TURK ERR JABBS!

Justin's girlfriend got yelled at by some white guy with an accoustic. She sorta made the sign as a joke (although she actually likes the music) and the guy was like "You don't even know why you're out here." And then she explained the sign and named these bands and so he was like "Have you ever heard of Los Lobos?" She hadn't so he said "Well, before you start protesting about something, know what you're fighting for." And then she responded, "I don't know who the fuck Los Lobos is!? Man...I'm a fucking idiot!" and stormed off.

Honestly, it isn't really something to kid around about. And honestly, Los Lobos is a band that's at least worth recognizing the name of. They're like three fat Mexican guys with guitars.

I'm not gonna lie. When I saw that sign, I kinda... I kinda thought something along the lines of "fucking idiot." The less 'screamo' and 'grindcore' the better. Making up new genres for whatever crappy new style some hack band is trying to create really doesn't hide the fact that it sucks.

Violent revolution is not wanted, but it is necassary. The ruling classes won't give up their power so easily, their military, their government.

Nothing is 'theirs'. It's ours. It's mentality like yours that makes people seem worthless. Peaceful protest was vital for the fight for civil rights. What are we fighting for now? Civil Rights.

Look at what happened in France, or did that already slip your mind? Those that were in power control society, and that is what happened with the Muslim. Most revolutions have began with a conflict. Why? Because the military doesn't belong to the people, it belongs to the ones that have established it. That is why the US can go to war with anyone, regardless of what the people think. Only after it seems that there is no longer a benefit (Vietnam), they will stop. Hell, that war was started by the US in the bay ot tolken. The same goes for the US-Mexico war, another one started by the US. Those in power have that ability to stop and start war anytime. It is a threat, and once there would be an uprising, I doubt it would go down peacfully. Just look at LA and what happens with the police force there. And people aren't worthless, it has to be known who the enemy is and what they are capable of. That is civil rights, I am considering revolution.

Have you heard how Jews demonstrated in Caesarea to try to convince Pilate not to set up Roman standards, with images of the emperor and the eagle of Jupiter, in Jerusalem (both images would be considered idolatrous by religious Jews). Pilate surrounded the Jewish protesters with soldiers and threatened them with death. They replied that they were quite willing to die rather than see the laws of the Torah violated. This protest action was successful in its immediate goal ( ... )
