OMG, this is awesome. Jared's got his powers, now he just needs to learn how to use them and not let them run away with him.
You just KNOW that he's going to lose the ring at some point and the bad guys (or maybe Chad) are going to use it, it's just inevitable.
I'm loving this, I really can't wait for more and there has to be a twist in there somewhere, I'm still thinking Morgan for some reason.
Ooh, and I had a thought. Jared's eighteen, right? So technically Morgan wouldn't be allowed to tell his parents anything that they talked about in their sessions, Dr/patient confidentiality and all.
