What do you do when you love someone so much and all you can do is whatch them self distruct? When your words are just meaningless letters formed to fill space and comfort them when they please? How can you smack them back into relaity so they can identify the hurt they are causing on them selves as well as on the people they love. Talk is cheap

Oh Ali, sweetheart, I'm so sorry you have to go through this and to a *small* degree, I know how you feel. I've watched my mom self-destruct every possible chance at love and happiness that she had, and passionately and foolishly pursue those that only cause her pain and abuse. It's so hard to stand by and watch that. I just want to shake her and make her finally see what she's doing to herself, to help her see all the love that is in abundance around her. Bleh. I am so sorry you are going through this *again*. I wish there was something I could say or do to fix it all but all I can offer is my support. It kills me to know you have to deal with this time and time again and it still there even 6000 miles away. Just stay focused on what you need to focus on. On your life and your school and Aaron which all seem so fantastic. I hate to say it, but I don't think there is anything you can do. I think this is something she needs to figure out on her own (and hopefully she will). You've tried a hundred times with her only to end up hurt and back at square one.
