Like all our historic buildings the Minster is in a constant state of restoration, we were extremely fortunate to visit as the Great East window was being restored n a £23,000,000 project. With regards to the last piccie - it reminds me (tho' only slightly) of the nursery rhyme three men in a boat! The butcher, the baker and the candle stick maker - now if the candle stick maker were the black smith...?
