A Christmas Story

It's been nearly a month since the last time I updated this thing. It's not that I'm hesitant to talk or that I have nothing to say (those of you who know me know that's not true). It's more that I think I have maybe three readers, and I've talked to all of them via email or face-to-face over the past few weeks, so there's not much left to tell ( Read more... )

That's such a cool story! Thanks for sharing it. As I probably told you, I want this space to be a place for telling my story. I think I had also hoped that it would spark others to think about their own stories. And your absolutely right about the "God's timing" thing. If we all really got a handle on that, there'd be much less stress in the world.

debi, your story makes me think of my mother too like how it did w/ cari, it makes me grateful that i have certain people in my life as well. and i totally agree with the right timing thing, everything that is bound to happen will in due time. it took me FIVE YEARS of being best friends with jonathan before i realized that I loved him and wanted to be with him, so timing is a huge factor in life. and amen cari, if we all accepted that, things would be much easier. hope your had a wonderful christmas full of goodies !!!
