I don't take back any of the things I said in 2004.
"It's not the end of the world. Things will right themselves, and the excesses of the current administration will come back to haunt them.
Listening to the losers this time around, I offer the same advice. One-party rule doesn't work, and if the Democrats end up with it, I expect similar results.
But perhaps I'm cynical. I voted for Obama today but found myself voting for a lot of Rs locally, because I am disgusted with many parts of the 20+ years of one-party rule by the Ds here in Washington.
Most of all, I lament that the "you're with us or aginst us" mentality afflicts almost everyone. I've spent most of the campaign being yelled at from both sides.
