Have had a draft of this sitting on my computer for ages. I got inspired by the influx of new photos of McAvoy portraying Bruce to complete it.

Hee hee yeah. I very much enjoyed writing their little moment at the end there. though i pretty much find the idea of Bruce paired up with anyone infinitely amusing. He's just so horribly politically incorrect that its almost charming. almost. ;)

Oh thank you. I'm glad you liked the transitions. When I first started writing it I just really liked the idea of neither man really knowing whats going on in the other man's head and bouncing back and forth between the two very different thought-streams. I also cheekily liked the idea that they looked the same so they would both be admiring the same features in the other man, oblivious to the fact that they too possessed the same features.

And Bruce is a hoot to write. Once you get a grasp on the vernacular all you gotta do really is think of the most inappropriate thing that he could be thinking and then have him shamelessly think it. ;)

I'm so looking forward to the movie too! So curious to see how McAvoy plays him.

Oh this is perfection!! The tension between Bruce and Charles, dear god. I could not imagine that Bruce/Charles would turn out to be this delicious.

Many thanks. Glad you liked the tension. In my opinion, Bruce/Charles could only work in this situation, cause in any other situation Charles would be able to hear Bruce's internal thoughts and would probably repulsed just like anyone else. But in this environment he only gets the charming, controlled side of Bruce. ;)

That worked just brilliantly! It was so intense, especially the-almost-kiss moment, that I was sitting on the edge of my chair, face practically flat up against the monitor screen, devouring each read word. I was aching, wanting them to kiss so bad, but alas, no such luck. (Maybe another encounter? Or Bruce having a very vivid dream? *ready to beg for a sequel or something of the sort at this point*)

hahahaha. That is a wonderful visual thank you for that! Annnnnnnnnd yeah, I'm a bit of a tease. I can write tension all right but i usually cut myself off just before it gets to sexy times cause i'm horrible at writing sexy times. Like seriously i would be happy for someone to pick this fic up and run with it cause i would definitely read a sequel. I could possibly see it happening - like Bruce is aware Charles can read his mind so maybe he would censor his thoughts just enough to stop Charles from running for the hills straight away. But then again its Bruce and his homophobia is pretty ingrained and so maybe Charles would have to sass him and be all like "uhh you're the one getting your cock sucked by a man so how bout we cool it with the calling people "faggots" thing hmm?"hee hee. i'm giving this too much thought aren't I

Well to be fair, its not just Charles who is oblivious. Bruce gets away with being horrible with just about everyone cause he keeps his horrible thoughts inside his mind. He doesn't speak them out loud. Thats what I loved about the book. I used to read with my jaw hanging open at how much Bruce got away with just because he's smart enough not to express himself out loud.

Wonder what Charles would think of him if he had been in an environment where he could read his mind? Very different I would assume. haha.

But i do concur, jealous!Erik is terribly fun to write.

Oh geez, please don't reread after Filth comes out. I just know that McAvoys interpretation of Bruce will just blow mine out of the water in comparison. haha
