So I thought I'd do a post of the last year since I've done so much with it....
so if yr interested in taking a photographic journey
First I went to Scotland to visit Lindsay:
Edinburgh
Edinburgh Castle
Then we flew to London, England:
Then I went back again to visit, and this time we went to Amsterdam:
Visited the sex museum
All of the other stuff in Amsterdamn you cant photograph.... but it is everything you have heard.
Next we went to Germany: Starting in Münster
We met up with some friends (where drinking beer on the street is legal and common place)
Some Santa Humour
(Why does Santa have such a large sack?... Because he only comes once a year.)
Next we headed to Hamburg (yes if you were to refer to them in plural form they are called 'Hamburgers')
This is carved out of wood
Next we drove to Buchenwald concentration camp (on Christmas day no less)
Then spent the night in Weimar home of the Baühaus and an important counter war propaganda art movement from the war
Next was time to drive to Köln (a.k.a Cologne)
From there we flew to Nyköping, Sweden and took a bus to Helsingborg
Lindsay, Pepsii, and Charlie
Local cheese shop
I dunno what the girls got me to do here
Helsingborg is right accross the water from Helsingør, Denmark. So we took a day trip there to see the castle that Shakespeare's 'Hamlet' is based off of.
Helsingør
The last night we were there was New Years eve, so we all got dressed up.
Back in Canada we headed out west again in the spring to B.C.
Where I got my licence
Built three houses
Played alot of golf
Went to Portland, Oregon by myself and watched a Champ Car race
And somehow acquired a cat that Lindsay is allergic too and is owned by someone else in our little neighbourhood in Squamish
Discovered that we are moving to Penticton in the Okanagan valley in B.C.
and flew a plane
On our way home we went through the states to Seattle
Went to the Experience Music Project
Stopped in the most miserable place on earth Aberdeen, Washington.
Drove through the Redwood forest in California
Stayed on the coast of California for a couple nights
San Francisco
On my birthday I swam in the pacific ocean just north of San Francisco then ended the day driving through the desert listening to Queens of the Stone age - Songs for the Deaf
We eventually blew up our engine and rented a car to get home... and thats been my last year....
