Thor's hammer is basically a game-breaker against any single opponent. All he has to do is put it down on their chest and wait for reinforcements to arrive at leisure. Unless of course the single opponent has something to draw his attention away, like the imminent destruction of Jotunheim, but I keep wondering why he doesn't always use that tactic.

...Actually, has Thor ever come up against Magneto? Can Magneto metalbend the hammer? (The hammer is his--you know what, that is not an image I need. I do not ship that.)
