I think that sometimes waiting until the last minute is my way of giving myself permission to just get it done and not have to write the perfect paper. I should keep reminding myself to give myself permission not to be perfect to begin with.

I'm still getting used to the hair.

thats an interesting way of saying it. i used to be all perfectionist too, and wouldn't turn things in at all. then i realized that doing that was hurtful so i would do things and feel miserable about them (you saw this happen once when you were at my place) and then it got so i would just push it out and use the procrastination thing too.
so yeah, that makes sense.

the nice thing about doing papers early, is you can set a date you will have it done, and not be perfect, and go back later and make improvements!
