Ok, two things...
My friend Brian got kidnapped by Aliens 0_0...and I mean it...he had this weird finger like (long ass finger) bruise in his arm, plus more shit of the sort...first though the whole story
He was in his room, hunged over; he also has this styrofoam plate covering his window...nothing was happening, the wind was calm...then...he begins hearing this strange sound, some kind of beat, beep...well..it was unique.
At first it was calm...then it began to grow stronger, louder...he was freaking out by this point...suddenly, the styrofoam began to whistle...it beagn to slide up, the air seemingly moving it, hitting it...thing was, there was no air current...
For a couple of minutes he stood over his bed, quaking in fear...finally he filled himself with courage and closed the window's doors, since the styrofoam was used to keep pests outside.
Thus ended the first part, he also recorded a bit of the sound on his cell, we heard it at school; it was freaky, yes...but the freakiest thing was that it showed it had been recorded today, wereas he showed it to us yesterday, and had been recorded on saturday night o_o.
Then, we noticed the cell's clock was off by a good 20 minutes if not more...and all his media had dissapeared, though it showed it still existed
The last part came when he sent around three or four messages, while he had no money left in his calling card.
Freaky?...like hell it was...but awesome as well ^^
Then, webcomics!!!
Three comics...and if someone even dares mention Megananimeripoffkyo I'm gonna sue his ass for ignorance and being ugly as sin...
First off,
www.Nuklearpower.com: ok, go to Archives, then 8 bit theater...it's a Final Fantasy I sprite comic dealing with every subject known to man; you don't have to know the characters before hand, but it does help to understand some of the deeper irony; still there's a lot for people that've never played Final Fantasy I (like myself). Updated weekly
Second,
www.sinfest.net: another great webcomic, this one done in classic comic strip technique; if you like sarcasm, irony and well done vulgarity, you'll love this. Updated weekly I think.
Last but not least,
www.hello-cthulhu.com; a comic done in Hello Kitty style with the great Cthulhu as the protagonist...unlike the others, the irony here is slgihtly harder to grasp, since few of my friends have read lovecraft, or are willing to read it (Cthulhu is a creation of H.P. Lovecraft). Even so, for those that are aquainted with the character and it's kin (Dagon, the color that came from space, Shub-Nigurath, etc.) this comoci boasts an awesome Irony and simple yet tasteful sarcasm...it rocks. Updated weekly, but for some reason it skips from time to time.
