Torture

An essay on torture

Torture is an art...it requires skill, talent and a very imaginative mind; it also requires as little erotic significance as possible.

The significance of torture

Torture shouldn't be seen as the means to inflict pain, since pain is temporal...leaving little to no scars behind...
Toture should be seen as the means to cause suffering.
The difference between one and the other is that pain can lead to sexual arousal, is ephimeral; usually physical and focuses on the sense that you are incapable of releasing yourself at the moment...that the pain is optional, that it can be avoided...that you can escape it...
Suffering on the other hand grows much, much further than pain...suffering is, simply put, the action and effect of fear...when you're afraid of something, you're suffering...that fear turns you into stone...that fear blocks your movement, you cannot escape it, for it is you; pain is external, suffering is internal. While one can escape pain by focusing on himself; suffering surges from one's self and swallows your entity whole...leaving no escape.

Suffering can be applied by many means, unlike pain, from verbal to physical...psychological, spiritual...it's boundless.
As the torturer you need to know that; don't focus only on phisycal means to cause suffering; use as many techniques as possible, without going over the board of course; too many methods cause confusion and lead the victim into beleiving you are...uncapable, giving him a false sense of hope and superiority.

To inflict the greatest suffering possible...you need to first have a somewhat abundant amount of information about the subjects background, thus you will know his weaknesses and how to attack them (children, family; try to go for sentimental objectives).

Tools of the torturer

Though you may believe your tools are objects, take into notice first what those objects will be applied to:
The target's senses.

The five basic tools of the torturer are his victim's four human senses and psyche; if you destroy one you will lose a tool and the rest will be severely weakened; your victim requires to be as coherent and awake as possible in order for him to understand what you are doing to him/her and why...

Afterwards anything can be your torture item of preference...from a simple spoon to the ancient chairs of the inquistion.

Bounding the victim isn't necesary; what is necesary however is blocking him from all human contact; reclusion will weaken the psyche enough to leave an entry open for you. Though he/she is locked away, that doesn't mean you have to stop interacting with him/her. Remember, from that point on you're the enemy to them, not a friend nor an accuantaince; but the enemy...words you speak will most certainly be ignored or tried to be used against you.

Never listen to your subject in the first hours of torture; the sense of survival is still strong at this point, thus (s)he will try every mean to be free....even trick you; the enemy deserves no respect, you will not get any from the victim...not even in his/her dying hours.

Purposes

Toture serves many external purposes, information, etc. These purposes might even get in the way with the actual torturing, since most of the time you're required to complete them before the target become's a simple mound of fear and eccentricity.

In personal manners, it serves many as well; though like I mentioned before, erotic arousal is a very dangerous need; it can lead to mistakes, rushed actions...you are prey of your hormones. Also sometimes the target begins to become an intrical part of you, thus ending his/her life will only bring the need for further pleasure, turning the art of torture into an addiction. ANd don't forget the stronger subjects..they will indeed cause suffering, only to you, since you are unable to obtain what is needed.

Torture serves purposes as experimentation, art and usually, stress relief. All of these in the most extreme meaning of the spetcre. How and why I can't explain simply...it really depends on the view the torturer gives to his art.

Exploits

How to exploit your subjects senses and in general means to torture.

First, Tact:
The hand is a very sensitive part of the body, never forget that...so is the genital area and face; when torturing the body go from chest/legs to sensitive areas, not the other way around; remember you're cuasing suffering, if you go from sensitive to not-so-sensitive you will give your subject a chance to recuperate.

Sight.
The most important of the senses, to completely exxploit this sense you may choose to either cut your subjects eye lids or keep them locked into place somehow; the subjects either needs to see what's happening to him, or ignore what will happen...you can manage this with a blindfold...
If he ignores his other senses will be on alert, filthering every little detail they can and making conclusions...have fun with this.

Taste:
Imagine tasing your innards...all is said

Scent:
You can use strong odors to keep your subject awake and concious.
::IMO I personally dislike disgusting odors...your subject puking all over you is much unpleasant::

Hearing
Another intersting sense...using it effectively is hard but renders great results...with enough time you can even condition you subject.
You can go from total silences to utter cacophonies...but not so far as to help the subject focus on something else that isn't the method of toture currently in use.

Your target's voice
Another tool, though this is more of a means to know if you're methods are succesful or not. It's not really necesary....more like an instrument of power, you take it out whenever your power is being doubted

Psyche
To hurt the psyche you must first weaken it by the means described above. Afterwards you can inflict panic into it by simple means...even just drawing the untensil close to a bodypart works wonders in advanced moments, when it has become a more fragile objective.

Signs that you are on the right track

From pleas of mercy, to wails of pain....to more biological results, such as urine and defecation...the eyes also boast an incredible notice...
A strong character will first be angry...the madness that surges from being imprisioned. You must know that, remain strong; remember you are in power even if they think so; they might resist a couple of hours..even days...but sooner or later they will give into suffering....or perish, in which case they served as a learning opportunity.

The Torturator must never become obssesed with causing suffering, learn to enjoy it and see it as a personal victory.

Survival

Keep your subject alive as much as you can....it's worth it to see the horror time and time again drawn in his face as he wakes up to see multiple parts of his body hanging next to him, or when he sees what a gruesome gallery his still living organism has become. Go nuts, try different stuff.

Remember, the thing is to cause suffering and have fun doing it ^^

Bonjour!
