Finally back from my trip to Mexico DF (country's capital and largest city in the world) with different stuff, different feelings and a different scent in my clothes that I like to call the "scent of victory" but it's really just a mix of sweat, smog and hormones ( Read more... )

Haven't had a chance to see it yet, now that you reccomend it however, I must get a chance. Hehe, yea; I'm also lazy as hell, though the things were priced at 25 pesos each, even for bootlegs that was an awesome bargain.

A friend of my bro left it once at my house... I've listened to it and I liked it.

Nice trip, btw.

Wow! Sounds like you had a really awesome trip! Everything sounds really interesting. It's awesome that your capital has so many cool things.

I've never been to Washington DC but personally, it seems as though it sucks. xDD The real capital of the USA should be New York or Boston, since they rock so much; Boston especially (haven't been to NY ^^;;). xDD;

And.. *huggles and kisses* you really didn't need to spend any money on me but thank-you for the gifts! You're too cute. :p *kiss again*

New York was the first capital of the U.S.; Washington D.C. was purpose-built to be the capital of the U.S. after George Washington's presidency (probably after his death, too.) It was rebuilt after the British burned most of it down (including the White House) in the War of 1812.

The only thing I've seen in Mexico City is the airport, from which I was driven to Querétaro and to which I took a bus from Querétaro. Mexico City is allegedly as violent and crooked as Kingston, and I survive in Kingston mainly because I'm Jamaican and I know Kingston well enough to know where to avoid. Since I *don't* know Mexico City and my Spanish is *not* good, I tried to stay out of Mexico City as much as possible. With admirable success, I might add.

Intersting.

Mmhmm, the cab driver was telling us how, about...four years ago, if you went to the parking lot of the "Garibaldi Bar" you weren't actually expected to come out, yet now, with around two cops per street corner, it's a much safer zone.
