I was told recently that female kangaroos have some sort of bi-uteral reproductive system in which they can put an embryo in suspension until they're ready to have a joey. Pretty sweet.

You could just be a walking stick... When you're of age, you don't need a male to reproduce. Hurray for parthenogenesis! And then, when you lay your eggs, you just flick them away from yourself, out of your butt. Oh, and you'd only have daughters. Sounds ideal to me! Except, you might be eaten by birds...
