1. CAN I ADD YOUR JOURNAL? CAN YOU ADD ME BACK?
Yes, please add this journal! All posts are public so if you add me, all my icon posts will show up on your friends page and you won't miss a thing. I will not be adding any friends to this journal, simply because it's not necessary. I add friends to my regular journal, and only use this one ONLY for icon posts.

2. WHAT IS HOTLINKING?
Hotlinking is rude (if you know what you're doing) and very annoying and potentially damaging. HOTLINKING happens when you see an icon that you like, copy the URL of the image (http://www.notyoursite.com/icon.jpg), and either use that URL in an [img] tag in your HTML, or when you upload your icons directly from the URL. Still confused? Please check out the following website:

What is Hotlinking? Bandwidth Theft?

To ensure you are not hotlinking, do the following:
1. Save the icon to your computer.
2. Upload the icon to your OWN webspace (photobucket, tinypic, etc.)
3. OR upload the icon to LiveJournal from your hard drive.

3. HOW DO I CREDIT YOU FOR YOUR ICONS?
Some people use resource lists or credit in userinfo. I don't like that, and it's rather complicated. I prefer credit in your icon keywords. Don't know how? It's easy:

1. Upload or Edit your userpics.
2. In the box next to the icon labeled keyword type your description of the icon. (This is your icon keyword.)
3. Somewhere in the box labeled keyword or comment type: "by the_arsenal" or you can use the tag:
[lj user="the_arsenal"]. (Replace each "[" with a "<" so the tag works.)
4. You can also credit my other journal "velocitize" if you want.

4. WHAT PROGRAM DO YOU USE?
All icons are made in Windows XP using Adobe Photoshop CS.
